Manuel "Manny" Micolta

Manny has been involved in corporate aviation since 1993.

Manny first worked as a line service technician while obtaining his Airframe & Powerplant certificates at Teterboro Airport, NJ; then as a Flight Dispatcher/Flight mechanic for a corporate flight department in Morristown airport, NJ. There he traveled across the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America and the Caribbean.

Manny earned his private pilot certificate in 2000. , He’s also a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol U.S. Air Force Auxiliary.

Manny enjoys the beach and outdoor activities with his family, reading aviation books, flying multi-engine airplanes and learning new aviation technology. He’s fluent in both Spanish and English.

 

Robert Hadow

Robert started in aviation as a skydiver. Skydivers often become pilots; pilots seldom become skydivers. He earned his Private Pilot certificate in 1992.

When Robert is not at Best in Flight, he flies a 1948 Stinson.

 

Jim Kemp

Jim began flying in 1980, while studying Physics at Rutgers University.  He earned his instrument rating in 2003.  His favorite flights are over the Delaware Water Gap, up the Hudson at night, and into Baltimore-Washington International.  He can be overheard explaining how “Flying is absolutely the single most fun thing you will ever do” and “The only thing better than learning to fly is learning to fly a little better” in our ground school most every Sunday afternoon. 

During the week Jim works as a system engineer and project manager for NJ TRANSIT.
