Now is a good time to consider airplane partnership. Manufacturers are aggressively pricing new aircraft. The used aircraft market is a buyer's market.

Best in Flight is introducing partners to appropriate aircraft in the New York area. we are introducing compatible potential partners to aircraft that will be based at Morristown Municipal Airport in Morristown NJ. The benefits to owners are many. We provide services to owners including arrangement of insurance, hangaring, maintenance, instruction, and professional pilots or co-pilots, according the needs of the owner (s).

DA40 Diamond Star

The DA40 Diamond Star is a four place, 150K aircraft ideal for advanced instrument training and family trips. The 2004 Diamond Star is equipped with a Garmin G1000 glass panel, making it more modern than many business jets.

Last year we bought a Diamond Star for our flight school. We are extraordinarily happy with it. Several renter pilots expressed interest in owning one individually. We developed a plan that will meet the desire of two pilots each to have, effectively, exclusive use of a DA40. We have proposed a partnership in which the first owner to claim a time slot gets the partnership airplane. The second requestor of a time slot gets the aircraft off our line. This gives two owners the ability to fly a DA40 with no schedule contention. For an independant DA40 review, click here. For information on the partnership click here.

DA42 NG Twin Star

The DA42 NG is a is a four place, twin engine 184 K aircraft equipped with two Austro Turbo Diesel engines. This aircraft is very fuel efficient, making 175K on 12.5 gallons of Jet A per hour. Your potential partners are interested in long range tanks. TKS known icing system option is under discussion. You may be the swing vote. For more nformation on the airplane, click here.

Three partners are looking for a fourth to buy a quarter-share in an aircraft to be delivered 4Q09 or 1Q10. The new NG model won't be cheap, but the Austro engines cure the problems with the Thielert engines in the airplane originally. This will be a conventional partnership with scheduling rules determined at the creation of the partnership and managed by Best in Flight. More information
