When you fly solo as a student or licensed pilot renter, you will enter into an aircraft rental agreement with BIF.  That agreement describes BIF’s limitation of liability.  BIF provides $100,000 in liability coverage. You are responsible for the first $5,000 in damage and loss of use.  You may either accept that liability, or secure yourself Renter’s Insurance in liability limits appropriate to your financial situation.
